Initial development starts in the cell laboratory where Innovalight engineers use lab scale equipment to push the limits of efficiency. Once the proof of concept is verified, the technology is transferred across the hall to Innovalight’s high volume capable development line. Innovalight goes through the painstaking process of scaling the process for the customer. This makes Innovalight the bridge between R&D and high volume production.
The high volume capable development line was designed for flexibility. A myriad of process combinations can be run on industry standard equipment based on the capabilities shown below. All Innovalight Platforms are run compared to the industry baseline, which gives cell manufacturers confidence that they will experience the same or better improvement in conversion efficiency when implementing Innovalight’s Platforms on their production lines.
